This story is not Headline News, and isnt getting much attention on FB, but not because … a Muslims blood is not equal to theirs. - There is ignorance and hatred in the US, as well as all countries worldwide. Had it been an Arab or Muslim as the perpetrator, it probably would have made national news. The group who controls the media would have used the incident to further propagate fear, hatred, and racial/ethnic/religious differences, to demonize people in the Middle East. I am so sorry and ashamed this type of violence is how the world is thinking is true of all us in the US... It is important to understand that the current media of the United States is controlled by a mere half dozen owners and CEOs, and those six individuals have total control over what we see and how the news and information in the world is shaped and presented. Our media continues to mislead the public on everything and anything that those pulling the strings wish their paid media puppets to sell to us. Whether it be the numerous unreported incongruities of 9/11, the illegal wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, Israeli occupation and genocide of Palestine... the media has not told us anything close to the truth. The same way that media is used to influence the American people, so is it used to protray us to the rest of the world as a nation full of bigots, racists, and war mongers. This is simply not true. In a country of approx 317 Million, yes, there are many example of extremist or radical views. However, there are just as many of us (and growing) who do NOT support religious/ethnic/racial persecution, our government actions, OR illegal wars based on lies. The real truth is what the powers that be fear the most. It is up to all of us to be disciples for disseminating the truth... I will continue doing my part.
