This video has been going around lately. A little background: She is a 29 year old woman who has recently been diagnosed with stage 4 terminal glioblastoma multiforme (brain cancer). Her prognosis is 3 months. She is from San Francisco but has relocated, along with her husband, to Oregon in order to access their Death with Dignity Laws. She meets their criteria and has been prescribed medication that will allow her to pass peacefully and without pain when she chooses. To be clear her tumor causes unbearable headaches, seizures and can ultimately leave her blind, suffering from memory loss and in immense pain. Passing no judgement whatsoever on this woman as it is her life and she can do what she feels is correct for her and her family. But with her only being a year my senior I cant help but put myself in her shoes and imagine if this were my situation and I were faced with this what my decision would be. I cant decide if it is incredibly cowardly or incredibly brave. I cant help but wonder, for my fellow Heathens, what would this be considered when put into this perspective. Anyone have thoughts? https://youtube/watch?v=yPfe3rCcUeQ
