This video is better than most, but it still misleads. Complaints of lack of resources and lack of proper training of teachers and high failure rates on practice CC test (because of the previous two!) does NOT mean the Common Core standards in Math, in and of itself, are bad. The level of training individual districts devote to preparing their teachers to teach this new curriculum varies widely. Some made it a top priority and some have not. What has YOUR district done? Find out! Poor implementation in some districts or some classrooms is NOT Common Cores fault.
