This was on my mind this morning and I just couldnt keep the message to myself. My 11 year old has been in focus classes since 4th grade. She made all As effortlessly (not really studying) which was all good with her. Well this year (1st year of middle school) shes been struggling because not only is she in all honors classes but she is also in AC math. She wants me to take her out of the classes and put her in regular Ed. classes so she can make all as again. Of course I WILL NOT! I told her that anything you want in life you have to work for it! Nothing worth having is given. She may not like it now, but she will thank me someday. Having an A or lots of money doesnt define a person. Hard work and determination does!
