This was posted a little while ago about a robbery at the Triangle Service Station on Hwy 29 south of Fairfax. Press release from City of Valley Police Department On this date at approximately 11:54 A.M., officers of the Valley Police Department responded to the Triangle Service Station, located at 3346 US Highway 29, in reference to a panic alarm at that business. Upon arrival officers found the cashier, identified as Chuck Hudmon, on the floor and unresponsive. It appeared that Mr. Hudmon had suffered a single gunshot wound. At that point officers requested medical assistance and the scene was turned over to investigators. Mr. Hudmon was transported to George H. Lanier Hospital where he was able to tell officers that his assailants were two black males. One was tall, muscular, and wearing an orange shirt. The other was shorter. A witness who was in the area stated that he saw a gold colored, extended cab pick-up with two black males leave the business shortly after the call was put out. The vehicle was last seen traveling north on Highway 29 and has the initials “UK” in the back window.
