Capital Rodents There comes a point in life where you have to make a choice, do I stay on the same path or do I make a left hand turn and go a new direction. The familiar path seems safe and secure but that path on the left could be exciting, new and challenging. What to do, what to do? A couple days ago I found myself asking that question. Stick to the familiar path or jump, I choose to jump. As Im sitting here writing this my nerves are getting the best of me, it is finally setting in. After 5+ years I am getting out of the feeder business and moving in a new direction. I started Capital Rodents and Feeders in 2008 selling supplies to reptile owners in the Ottawa area. I built my business offering quality products at great prices, that formula worked well and I quickly expanded to serve eastern Ontario and western Quebec. I have met many great people along the way and wouldnt of ever gotten to this point without my friends/clients. I want to thank all of you for helping make my business successful and allowing me to make a living doing something I love. I also want to thank you for encouraging me, challenging me, and for needing me. I know my decision might seem hasty, but its something that I have put lots of thought into. I have 2 young girls and an amazing wife that I dont get to spend enough time with. I usually dont get to see my daughters 2 days of the week and that is something that really weighs on my heart. Why work so hard and not get to enjoy life to the fullest? This is something I can not do any longer. I want to thank my wife and family for supporting me in my endeavors. So I take that leap, leaving that familiar path and down the road less traveled. Im looking forward to new challenges, new adventures, and new experiences. I know many people and their reptiles have relied on Capital Rodents for food and supplies, the last thing I want is to leave your cupboards bare.
