This year more than ever before, the global Jewish community has felt a sense of isolation. Difficult times in Israel, the war, the boys, and rising anti-Semitism throughout the world has once again called attention to our people. Yet we have found a special sense of unity and spirit during these most difficult times putting us in a unique category. Tens of thousands of people gathered together for prayer. Thousands of people accepted upon themselves positive acts for the safety of our brothers and sisters in Israel. The Jewish community came together as one, and that is the key; the oneness of the Jewish community. At Chai Lifeline we are forever grateful for all those who help us in our sacred mission of oneness; helping those that are in unfortunate situations. With pure and Torah intentions, it is something that we should all aspire to. The Jewish community is strong and has the potential to be much stronger. I pray that this year we realize the strengths that we have from within ourselves to be better, but the most productive and the greatest strength of all is to be together with our fellow Jews. This will create the invincible strength of the Jewish people. Please G-D Moshiach should come and there should no more war, pain or illness. With warmest wishes for a Healthy and Happy New Year, Rabbi Simcha Scholar Executive Vice President, Chai Lifeline
