Those who work nights might understand this.... I worked all weekend and was dog tired...but no matter what I tried, short of a sleeping pill..no luck sleeping! ! The brain wont shut off.. the minute my head hit the pillow...my brain shifted into overdrive !!! Its the most maddening thing...and thank GOD..its rare for me! After all these years of nights..my body is just naturally able to sleep anytime..but every once in a while...my circuits get crossed and Im tired, but my brain is taking a little stroll through bat-shit crazy land! Soooo Im delirious, but cant sleep!! How screwed up is that?? Thank God for an amazing boss, and a wonderful co-worker, who.will stay over for me...and allow me to sleep some...with the help of Mr Sleeping Pill!!! Or so I pray!
