Thought for the day: After thinking about Robin Williams and the responses from all around... I wrote this today for him. ((Hope you like it Robin... hope you like it.)) A Tribute to Robin Williams. A vast of sadness filled my soul When I heard you simply took a stroll And didn’t return You didn’t stop or even cringe You made the corner, without a hint Of being lost You kept on going, at full-throttle A constant battle at the bottle Afraid and depressed A million miles, and many faces So full of life, and its embraces My heart just melts I wish that we had just one chance To change your mind, to make a stance And keep you here For your children and your spouse, For the thousands that you endowed With your wit Some say genius, others remarkable I just thought you were unstoppable until today And I think I’m bluest knowing that you’re mortal Not some super cosmic ray, shot from some portal To live amongst us We will never forget how you made us laugh Or showed us that it’s okay to just be a basket case, young or old After all you were so many many different personalities And, we loved every one, and all your rationalities Every last one So Mr. Robin Williams, here’s to you ! May the marching band play on. And a never ending salute. In your honor. God Speed.
