To Agnes, there were too many options in the future to worry about the past. She often told Mardi that her problems stemmed from contemplating what could have been, instead of looking forward to what might be. You live in the wrong tense, Mardi-Jean. Conceding that Agnes may have a point, but given the fact that her deceased mother was high on weed most of the time, Mardi considered a second opinion from a mental health professional a wise move. ~from my current work in progress. PS. Asking when it will be done will not make the process go faster, just sayin. Like fine wine, a book needs time to reach its full flavor. Then and only then should it be published.
