To All Members As the page has been vastly growing the past few weeks, I know some of you havent got to meet myself&my angel Skye-Jordan. I always like&think its nice for our members to be able put a face to our names. So today I thought I would share a couple of pictures with you all. I was left throughout my pregnancy with E-Coli&gradually the infection got worse and was left untreated although I was classed High Risk anyway. At 22wks 3days gestation I went into premature labour at home. Luckily my eldest son was staying at his grandparents, he went usually on a Friday but went on the Thursday instead. That night Im so thankful he wasnt home. The paramedics arrived and it wasnt a pleasant experience, I stood up with Skye still breach between my legs and was put into a wheelchair, dragged up the steps and had to stand up and lie on the bed in the ambulance, the hospital was two streets away, but it felt like a lifetime I was in there, all the way to the hospital I felt Skyes heart beating against my top right thigh. At the hospital I went into complete shock. I thought Skye had died, but they delivered her and Skye was born breathing. We were told my notes couldnt be located and they didnt know who they were dealing with. Five hours later a Doctor and Midwife entered the room. They were checking Skye over and the Doctor said Shes a lil fighter to which the midwife replied dont worry sweetheart youll soon be in the sky with the angels. Omg it was not until this point I realised my baby girl wasnt getting any help but being left for her heartbeat to get weaker and weaker until she took her final breath 11th December 2009 8hrs after Skye was born 10th December 2009. They left Skye in the room for another 8hrs after she had passed away and the events that unfolded were surreal. Eventually after a long and heartbreaking testing few weeks the hospital released Skye to the funeral home 2nd February 2010,and on 4th February 2010 Skyes funeral took place. Throughout it all we were left with no support which is why i helped other pages and wasnt familiar with facebook at the he time I ran a group in 2010&the groups were all archived I lost 1500 group members not knowing how to get my group back up and running. So I left it a little while as it was all a lil too soon after losing Skye. After waiting and feeling ready I felt It was time to start up Skyes Angel Baby Infant & Child Loss Keepsakes so I could reach out to others using my self experience through loss. I hope you will all feel comfy here on our page, a huge warm welcome to you all. Tina Skyes Mummy xxxx
