To Circumcise or Not to Circumcise? Gen 17:9 And Elohim said to Aḇraham, “As for you, guard My covenant, you and your seed after you throughout their generations. Gen 17:10 “This is My covenant which you guard between Me and you, and your seed after you: Every male child among you is to be circumcised. Gen 17:11 “And you shall circumcise the flesh of your foreskin, and it shall become a sign of the covenant between Me and you. Gen 17:12 “And a son of eight days is circumcised by you, every male child in your generations, he who is born in your house or bought with silver from any foreigner who is not of your seed. Gen 17:13 “He who is born in your house, and he who is bought with your silver, has to be circumcised. So shall My covenant be in your flesh, for an everlasting covenant. Gen 17:14 “And an uncircumcised male child, who is not circumcised in the flesh of his foreskin, his life shall be cut off from his people – he has broken My covenant.” Are we the seed of Abraham? Do you think you are? It is a good question to ask yourself. Exo 12:48 “And when a stranger sojourns with you and shall perform the Passover to יהוה, let all his males be circumcised, and then let him come near and perform it, and he shall be as a native of the land. But let no uncircumcised eat of it. Act 15:1 And certain men came down from Yehuḏah and were teaching the brothers, “Unless you are circumcised, according to the practice of Mosheh, you are unable to be saved.” Act 15:2 So when Sha’ul and Barnaḇah had no small dissension and dispute with them, they arranged for Sha’ul and Barnaḇah and certain others of them to go up to Yerushalayim, to the emissaries and elders, about this question. Act 15:3 So, being sent on their way by the assembly, they passed through Phoenicia and Shomeron, relating the conversion of the gentiles. And they were causing great joy to all the brothers. Act 15:4 And having arrived in Yerushalayim, they were received by the assembly and the emissaries and the elders. And they reported all that Elohim had done with them. Act 15:5 And some of the believers who belonged to the sect of the Pharisees, rose up, saying, “It is necessary to circumcise them, and to command them to keep the Torah of Mosheh.” Act 15:6 And the emissaries and elders came together to look into this matter. Act 15:7 And when there had been much dispute, Kĕpha rose up and said to them, “Men, brothers, you know that a good while ago Elohim chose among us, that by my mouth the gentiles should hear the word of the Good News and believe. Act 15:8 “And Elohim, who knows the heart, bore witness to them, by giving them the Set-apart Spirit, as also to us, Act 15:9 and made no distinction between us and them, cleansing their hearts by belief. Act 15:10 “Now then, why do you try Elohim by putting a yoke on the neck of the taught ones which neither our fathers nor we were able to bear? This sounds like just the opposite of what Messiah would say and does say; I hope people will realized that when a great king makes a decree even He cannot change the decree according to the ancient near eastern protocols. The Scriptures tells us that Elohim does not change. So, how could the spirit that is Father Yah’s Ruach not agree with what we are told in the follow verses? Mat 5:17 Do not think that I came to destroy the Torah or the Prophets.1 I did not come to destroy but to complete. Mat 5:18 For truly, I say to you, till the heaven and the earth pass away, not one jot or one tittle shall by no means pass from the Torah till all be done. Heaven and earth are still here the New Jerusalem has not come down from the Heavens as we are told it will in REV 21. We were just told in Act 15 that it put extra labor upon them and an unbearable Yoke! Mat 11:28 “Come to Me, all you who labour and are burdened, and I shall give you rest. Mat 11:29 “Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am meek and humble in heart, and you shall find rest for your beings.1 Footnote: 1Jer. 6:16. Mat 11:30 “For My yoke is gentle and My burden is light.” 1Jn 5:3 For this is the love for Elohim, that we guard His commands,1 and His commands are not heavy, 1Jn 2:6 The one who says he stays in Him ought himself also to walk, even as He walked. Php 4:13 I have strength to do all, through Messiah1 who empowers me. 2Co 1:4 who is comforting us in all our pressure, enabling us to comfort those who are in every pressure, through the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by Elohim. 2Co 1:5 Because, as the sufferings of Messiah overflow in us, so our comfort also overflows through Messiah. 2Co 1:6 And if we suffer pressure, it is for your comfort and deliverance, being worked out in enduring the same sufferings which we also suffer. If we are comforted, it is for your comfort and deliverance. Rom 8:16 The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of Elohim, Rom 8:17 and if children, also heirs – truly heirs of Elohim, and co-heirs with Messiah, if indeed we suffer with Him, in order that we also be exalted together. Rom 8:18 For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the esteem that is to be revealed in us. HPV Human Pavilonion Virus. Cervix cancer in women higher in women who have mates that are not cut. Act 15:11 “But through the favour of the Master יהושע Messiah we trust to be saved, in the same way as they.” Act 15:12 And all the crowd was silent and were listening to Barnaḇah and Sha’ul declaring how many miracles and wonders Elohim did among the gentiles, through them. Act 15:13 And after they were silent, Yaʽaqoḇ answered, saying, “Men, brothers, listen to me: Act 15:14 “Shimʽon has declared how Elohim first visited the gentiles to take out of them a people for His Name. Act 15:15 “And the words of the prophets agree with this, as it has been written: Act 15:16 ‘After this I shall return and rebuild the Booth of Dawiḏ which has fallen down. And I shall rebuild its ruins, and I shall set it up, Act 15:17 so that the remnant of mankind shall seek יהוה, even all the gentiles on whom My Name has been called, says יהוה who is doing all this,’ Act 15:18 who has made this known from of old. Act 15:19 “Therefore I judge that we should not trouble those from among the gentiles who are turning to Elohim, Act 15:20 but that we write to them to abstain from the defilements of idols, and from whoring, and from what is strangled, and from blood.1 Footnote: 1See v.29. Act 15:21 “For from ancient generations Mosheh has, in every city, those proclaiming him – being read in the congregations every Sabbath.” Act 15:22 Then it seemed good to the emissaries and elders, with all the assembly, to send chosen men from among them to Antioch with Sha’ul and Barnaḇah: Yehuḏah being called Barsabba, and Sila, leading men among the brothers, Act 15:23 having written by their hand this: The emissaries and the elders and the brothers, To the brothers who are of the gentiles in Antioch, and Syria, and Kilikia: Greetings. Act 15:24 Since we have heard that some who went out from us have troubled you with words, unsettling your lives, to whom we gave no command – Act 15:25 it seemed good to us, having become of one mind, to send chosen men to you with our beloved Barnaḇah and Sha’ul, Act 15:26 men who have given up their lives for the Name of our Master יהושע Messiah. Act 15:27 We have therefore sent Yehuḏah and Sila, who are also confirming this by word of mouth. Act 15:28 For it seemed good to the Set-apart Spirit, and to us, to lay upon you no greater burden than these necessities: Act 15:29 that you abstain from what is offered to idols, and blood, and what is strangled, and whoring.1 If you keep yourselves from these, you shall do well. Be strong! Footnote: 1See v. 20. Act 15:30 They, therefore, being sent off, went to Antioch. And having gathered the crowd together, they delivered the letter. Act 15:31 And having read it, they rejoiced over its encouragement. So we have 7 things that this goes against. 1. That it was a sign you were in covenant with Yah. 2. You were to do it to all your males on the 8th day. 3. If you were male you couldn’t partake of the Passover unless you had it done. 4. He doesn’t change he is the same yesterday today and forever. 5. Messiah didn’t come to take away any part of the Torah. 6. This was to be guarded throughout all generations of Abraham’s seed. So if you stop this then you are saying you are no seed of Abraham. 7. We are teach men it is Ok to break the commands in Torah? Joh 7:19 “Did not Mosheh give you the Torah? Yet not one of you does the Torah!1 Why do you seek to kill Me?” Footnote: 1See Mt. 5:20. Joh 7:20 The crowd answered and said, “You have a demon, who seeks to kill You?” Joh 7:21 יהושע answered and said to them, “I did one work, and you all marvel. Joh 7:22 “Because of this Mosheh has given you the circumcision – though it is not from Mosheh, but from the fathers – and you circumcise a man on the Sabbath. Joh 7:23 “If a man receives circumcision on the Sabbath, so that the Torah of Mosheh should not be broken, are you wroth with Me because I made a man entirely well on the Sabbath? Joh 7:24 “Do not judge according to appearance, but judge with righteous judgment.” Duet 29,,, Was the covenant here any different? Was the covenant made so that there was no Circumcision? Gal 5:1 In the freedom with which Messiah has made us free, stand firm, then, and do not again be held with a yoke of slavery. Gal 5:2 See, I, Sha’ul, say to you that if you become circumcised, Messiah shall be of no use to you. Gal 5:3 And I witness again to every man being circumcised that he is a debtor to do the entire Torah. Gal 5:6 For in Messiah יהושע neither circumcision nor uncircumcision has any strength/power, but belief working through love. It is not about power or strength it is about being part of a covenant that was made first with Abraham. So where did this kind of thinking come from to get away from circumcision? Constantine, Marcion or who? He wanted to get away from anything that that resembled the Way or even what the secular Israelites kept. This is a fabricated word. Did Yah Messiah say this or is Shaul saying this. Oh it’s OK to do this because I say it. Are we supposed to go backwards through what Paul is saying here as though he has the same Authority as Messiah and the Father do? Or do we filter everything through what Torah and Messiah say, Because they are one and of the same! Did Sha’ul bring a new Gospel other than what Messiah was teaching and go 100% against him? NO, that is crazy talk! We do not understand him or it is a total corruption here, because I don’t believe Sha’ul was a heretic. People use Paul as a license to sin. Joh 14:6 יהושע said to him, “I am the Way, and the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. I hope this was a blessing to you all! Much Love and Shalom to you all, Brother Jay
