To all my Facebook friends and family: Ive always considered myself an old soul....even before the appearance of all the white hair. Before the advent of social media I also considered myself a fairly private person..... Recently I made a post that once I would have considered a very private issue and I made that post without a seconds thought. That is not me. Sharing my joys here doesnt make them any sweeter, nor my sorrows any lighter. These are personal things that should be shared with someone you love and share your life with.......dont get me wrong; I appreciate the sentiments I received, but I was really looking for consolation or affirmation...in fact it brought unwanted focus on a pivotal moment in my life. That being said; Im deleting my Facebook account within the next day or so. I just didnt want anyone to think that I had unfriended them or leave any questions as to why Im no longer here. I intend to get back to enjoying the simple things that once filled my life....reading, woodworking, cooking, and pursuing my love for God.
