To all my facebook friends, brothers, and sisters in Christ. A thought to think about. Would Jesus really tell us to go and sin no more as He spoke in His teachings to the woman who others intended to stone and to the man who was a cripple, if it could not possibly be done? Read the following words spoken by Jesus: Joh_8:11 She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more. Joh 5:14 Afterward Jesus findeth him in the temple, and said unto him, Behold, thou art made whole: sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee. This I interpret to be a command rather than a request, was not a possibility, but a surety that the command could be fulfilled. Division has been created in the church due to sin, there are those who preach/teach under grace and that no matter how many times one sins it will always be forgiven, leaving no fear for ones continual sin/inquity. Once forgiven always forgiven, without repentence they are telling children of God that we sin every day in word, thought, or deed. I beg to differ. First, we must know what sin truly is: Sin is willful transgression/action against the known Law of God. Heb_10:26 For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, For this reason and because we are to conduct our lives in the manner in which Christ was our example, so are we to be the example of Christ to this lost and dying world. God made provision for this world in the following scripture which requires something from us denoted by the word if and then goes on to tell us of His promise to heal this land. Looks like it is left up to us whether our land is healed or not! 2Ch_7:14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. May God Bless this land I pray!
