To all my traveling FB friends, but especially my cousin Christine Mellon: last night I was on a Ethihad Airbus for a 7 hour haul from Mauritius to Dubai. I am not at all a nervous flier but I must say it was my 2nd time in that monster and it is not comforting. Three boarding bridges, spiral staircases, it is the lap of luxury. Still, the entire time that we were in the air, I swear the whole thing feels like you are in a side to side milkshake machine. Not turbulence, the air was smooth (thx God). It just feels like it is not as aerodynamic as the others. Have you experienced this too? My next leg was Dubai to Milan on a 787- perfection! What do you all know? Have you felt the same thing?
