To anyone who says there is no God... Madison Hensley decided to experiment in the kitchen yesterday while I was on set with a Yahama commercial. Her brother was supposed to be watching her. She decided to dip Oreos in pancake batter and deep fry them (yummo). Unfortunately it went terribly wrong. She used to much oil. She heated it to much. She carefully placed the battered Oreo in the overheated oil and Kaboom the grease exploded up and out. The splatter pattern indicates it went over her head and completely around her body, face, entire self. She collapsed from fear and then called me frantic. I calmed her. Evaluated the situation and determined she was not in immediate danger. Determined there was not a fire, thankfully. I Finished my commitment. Upon my arrival home I grasped the true miracle that occurred. The grease was hot enough to melt skin. She should have been severely burned, blinded, injured but was not. She was protected. I believe our faith in Christ prevented my baby from being permanently scarred for life. I have a strong faith. I believe in God. I have experienced miracles. My daughter was blessed and protected yesterday by a miracle.
