To be honest, I didn’t understand how or why dumping a bucket of ice on one’s head would help the ALS cause, considering it seems that most people simply dump the bucket without donating. However, statistics are showing that there is a 1000% increase in donations to the organization, simply because these videos have been going so viral: huffingtonpost/2014/08/11/ice-bucket-challenge-fundraising_n_5668602.html Thank you, Lauren Bruguera, for nominating me for the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge. In addition to dumping stuff on my head, I will be donating $25 to the cause, as I personally do know an individual who has suffered and passed away as a result of the disease. I strongly encourage everyone to keep up the momentum by donating even something small to this cause or another worthy cause that you believe in, even if you decide to get drenched.
