To be in the presence of Sister Julie Beck and learn from her and feel the Spirit so strong, will be one of my most cherished memories .... Ever!!!! Performing Come, Come Ye Saints at the end of this spiritual feast was something Ill never forget. It actually was a piece I dissected back in February of last year. And the group I was to perform with decided to use another song. I was bummed because I felt a special connection, I guess youd say, to this message and really wanted to share it. (So anyways, a few days ago I was asked if I was going to attend todays event and I said I couldnt because I was just too far away, without the means to get there, and I thought that was the end of this opportunity). So fast forward to today, when I was 6 hours from home, my hubby said, you gotta go to this once in a lifetime fireside! But how?! Well, the Lord worked out all the details and I headed home alone. Then asked to perform just a few hours before I got home, I thought I dont know what to do! And it came to me Come, Come Ye Saints and after it all, this was exactly what I needed to share! I really felt the Lord prepared me for this opportunity during a time that I had the time to work on it because I wouldnt have been able to do it with the remaining 3 hours on the road. Im so grateful for this day .... From start to finish!! ... And having my mom with me was truly the cherry on top!
