To cut costs, hospital stays are shorter than ever and people are referred to nursing homes for acute care and rehab. Hundreds of residents may be living at the nursing home -- all requiring nursing care. Yet, Medicare requires only one RN to be on duty for only a single eight hour shift each day. Consumer Voice is supporting HR 5373, the Put a Registered Nurse in the Nursing Home Act to require 24 hour RN staffing in nursing homes. Please help us achieve this important standard by supporting our advocacy campaign with your contribution at https://theconsumervoice.org/donate-to-consumer-voice
