To donate please go here: gofundme/jenny-issels Thank you all for your help it is much much appreciated. About Jenny - Hi we are Pastor David and Jenny from Bethel Church Manchester and we need to raise money for treatment against lung cancer for my wife Jenny Cowell. Jenny works for the NHS, organising Stop Smocking campaigns and also promotes cancer awareness. Jenny is one amazing lady who puts others before herself and has always seen the good in people, she is loved by many and I have not met anyone who does not love and like my beautiful wife. Jenny has also worked with young women helping some of them through very difficult situations. Nothing is a chore to Jenny and she will do anything for anyone, well my appeal is to ask for all her friends to help her which we know there are many. In 2005 Jenny was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer which the doctors treated performing a lumpectomy, radio therapy and hormone therapy (Tamoxifen). Jenny was given the all clear as the lymph nodes showed no sign of cancer which was great. In January 2013 Jenny noticed some raised lymph nodes in her right armpit and a biopsy showed the cancer had returned known as a local recurrence. In May of 2013 she had further surgery to remove the nodes and again she was given the all clear. CT scans showed no cancer at all present in Jenny but the doctors wanted her to have chemotherapy as a backup treatment to make sure it never came back, but after much research was not the path Jenny wanted to go down. Through all of this we are fully trusting God and firmly believe that Jesus Christ is the answer, He is our healer and we are following His direction. We have found a place in the USA called - Issels Integrative Oncology which can deal with the type of lung cancer trying to invade Jenny. I have talked with them and we need to raise the funds to get Jenny well enough to fly to the USA and also pay for her to have the right treatment which is not available in the UK. Please give and share with your friends as much as possible and try to put yourself in Jenny’s position. If 1000 people gave £50 we would raise the £50,000 required. We are not fully aware of all the costs associated with the treatment as the treatment is tailored to Jenny specifically, you can find information about the treatment by visiting Issels website: issels We have already had donations and want to thank everyone who has given, we are so greatfull for all and any help. God Bless you all Pastor David and Jenny
