To everyone out there who believes in the power of prayer: Jessica and I are now 20 weeks into the pregnancy. Last night she woke up and realized she was bleeding. We came straight to the ER. At first everything looked ok. However, she started contracting & dilating and the doctors realized her cervix had thinned out too much, and the amniotic sac had began to come through. Currently the sac sits partially in and partially out, and there is nothing they can do except put her on bed rest and wait. Since the sac is partially exposed there is a risk of infection or her water breaking. At this point little Benjamin is not far enough along to be born. The doctors say if he can hold out to at least 23 weeks, he has a chance. So far little Benjamin has not listened to doctors and God has brought him this far. We had went through IVF, watched all the eggs but 2 die, go in one week to an empty egg sac and was told to prepare for the worst. Yet one week later God blessed us with Benjamin. God says with faith the size of a mustard seed, we can move mountains. Prayer is powerful, and God has blessed And taken care of Benjamin so far. God also says when we are weak, we are to turn to our friends for help. So thats what Im doing. Im asking all of you to pray that God continues to take care of Ben. Not only that but in asking you to pass this along and share it so your friends can pray too. Thanks, and we love each and every one of you.
