To prove the point of how Jazzed KC is about the Royals...there was a little break and RA was talking about how much he really likes KC and how much he enjoyed his day moving about the city. Some fans broke into a Lets Go Royals chant....RA laughed. He says something like...I not a big fan of any sports teams , yada yada and the rest is here....LOL 102014 Ryan Adams at the Uptown Theater in Kansas City, MO. Ryan Adams is and has been my favorite musical artist since I first saw him in New York in 1999. He is the only person other than Neil Young that has taken me near the evil Country music genre ....dont do twang LOL ! He would play in coffee houses and small venues and never was one for the large arena type shows. Ive seen him in all over the US and even in the UK. He will be 40 on Nov 5 but has done so much for his young age. He is an amazing song writer whose lyrics tell a lot about his life experiences, which are quite extensive given his age. His songs are very good musically as well and he has the ability to play each one in any style from acoustic/piano to hard rock versions. Ive had the opportunity to meet him several times...he is kind of a gamer/comic book reading/ geekish person....very intelligent and witty. He is a bit eccentric and is often thought of to be a bit rude. He is not driven by the normal greed of musicians. He is a huge proponent AGAINST using computers and other methods to enhance his music. The thing that is cool is that if you go to a show and are able to get with the crew you have a great chance at being able to plug your digital recording device into the sound board. He has 460 + live shows on Archive.org that can be streamed or downloaded.
