To the person or persons who removed all three planters from the corner of 152nd Street and 64th Avenue in Surrey I ask you why? Three years ago our 22 year old daughter Kassandra Kaulius was killed at this corner by an impaired driver on the night of May 3, 2011 I pass this corner twice a day on my way to work and on the drive home. It is a horrible feeling for a parent to only be able to look at a picture of your child on a lamp post and to know that this is the way it will be for the next 30 years. I will never have the ability to see or talk to my daughter again. We have placed flowers there as a gift to her as she loved pink flowers. Twice now the planter boxes and flowers that we have placed there as a memorial to her have been stolen. It has happened again, one of the plants has been there for 2 years and we have watch it grow and bloom and we have watched as nature created new leaves. It was a sign that life continues as these plants continued to grow. Vic went down today to see if the planters had been tossed down the hill or moved to another corner sadly they were all gone. They even took the Rosary that was placed onto of the little tree. One of the reasons that we placed flowers there was for people sitting in traffic just to look at something pretty. There are many people who know what happened on May 3rd 2011. We didnt want that to be their only memory. We wanted them to remember something beautiful that they could enjoy for just a few minutes. Just like our memories of Kassandra. It is something that we hold onto and each memory we treasure and always will. Love you and miss you every single day baby girl................. Markita Kaulius
