Today I Celebrate 29 years of marriage with a most special gift sent to me by my Father in heaven. A special thank you today for my Aunt Anna who, when I was barely a teenager, told me to start praying for my wife. I said I didnt know her name or who she was but she said God knows who she is. So at 14 I began to pray for Judy, that this girl where ever she may be will be filled with faith , peace, joy, and a committed love to me, her husband to be, when God would choose the appropriate hour of our meeting and marriage. A special thanks to my sister Jennifer who set me up with this singing guitar playing young woman named Judy from the local prayer meeting they all attended. That blind date came 8 years from the day I began praying for her on a daily basis. Almost 3000 prayers later as I sat at this prayer meeting, home on break from chiropractic college, I watched this beautiful angel play and sing her praises to God and began falling in love. When we went out on our first date the next day I knew that Judy was my special gift from God and I knew that she would be my wife. The years have shown me that she was everything I prayed for and so much more. God answered in an abundance and in ways that I could not have even dreamed of. Judy is His perfection for me. Every desire, every need, Judys presence has filled in my life. She truly is my soul mate. We became one in the purist sense and are incomplete without the other. My heart mourns when she is not at my side even if she has just went to the store for milk. A special Thanks to Jim and Marcie whose love and faith molded their little girl and made her open to the blessings and will of God. My Prayer Today Is That Every young man and woman will begin to pray for their spouse to come. And that every married couple will pray and open their eyes to the person they are with and recognize the beauty and love they committed to on their wedding day. My advice today is that you should marry your best friend or make your spouse your best friend no matter what the sacrifice or cost. May you all know that kind of love, faith and laughter I have known with Judy over these last 30 years I have known her. I love you Judy for laughing at my jokes, nursing me to health when I am broken and ill, for being strong when I am weak and for loving me through every moment of my life. We are one flesh one faith and complete joy no matter the circumstance of the day. That is a true and perfect union and marriage. Thank you Abba Father in heaven for hearing our prayer and sharing a piece of your paradise here on earth and in our marriage. It is our covenant we all made on August 15th, 1985.
