Today, I am very mindful, and feel much gratitude for the love of family. It was 24 years ago today, that my dear mother and sweet 19 year old neice Cristin, were killed in Sardine/ Wellsville Canyon, during the first snowfall of the year. Being a daddys girl, I am also mindful of my wonderful dad, who passed away suddenly of a heart attack while I was in Europe with Logan High Orchestra on a concert tour, when I was just 16 years old. Circumstances were such, that I did not learn of his passing, until completing the tour and arriving home on our chartered flight. I am grateful, they were at least able to postpone his funeral until I made it home. I love my parents and Cristin, and am grateful for the time I had to spend with them. Please dont postpone, telling those you love, what they mean to you ... We never know when our time here is over. I am grateful for the knowledge that I will see them again soon. I celebrate their lives today.
