Today I received a phone call telling me my position at Wet Seal is no longer needed. I am not surprised by this, due to the fact my store (Belden Village) has not gotten a shipment box since Black Friday. My store is not the only one going under. There are closes from Alabama to Chicago, all of Ohio, and even stores in New York. It deeply saddens me that a company I have put my heart and soul into since I was 17 hid this information from every one of its employees until this morning. The friendships Ive made at my job were well worth it. I never felt like I had to go to work everyday because shifts were fun! My amazing coworkers made all the difference. Even though this chapter is closing, I know another one will be opening soon enough.
