Today I was driving down the main drag of the town I live in when - TopicsExpress

Today I was driving down the main drag of the town I live in when I saw a pickup truck with antlers sticking up out if its bed on one side and hooves out of the other side. I was in a car lower to the ground than the truck, so I could not see for sure what kind of dead animal was in the back of that pickup, but it was probably either a moose or an elk. I cannot express the sick feeling I felt in my stomach. I was tempted to flip the guy off, but I didnt because that never solves anything. I saw the guy in the cab. He was unkempt, and I suspect he had just returned from a hunting trip. He was likely on his way to dismember the corpse of the animal he just murdered and package up the flesh, which he DOES NOT OWN. When I got to my destination which was a bakery in the next town over where I was meeting some friends, a man came in with a handgun in a holster on his hip, which is actually legal here in Idaho. It was scary because I didnt know who the guy was. I had no way of knowing if he was just some gun enthusiast showing off, but who wouldnt hurt anyone or if he was some wacko who would gun everyone down if he got angry. You dont even need a permit to carry a gun here. As long as its visible, no permit is necessary. With a permit, you can carry a gun concealed. Im okay with people owning guns, but come on. This is ridiculous. Im extremely tempted to move back to California where I went to college. Ive even considered leaving the country because Ive been so disgusted with politics in the USA.
