Today I was truly blessed I was leaving Wal-Mart I pull up to the stop sign fixing to make my left turn a man and his wife was standing by the stop sign I never give out money to pan handlers but I felt like I needed to so I reach the man a dollar as I read his sign it said a army vet having a hard time making ends meet as I pulled away I went up the hill mean while I was listening to curtisy of the red white and blue Toby keith so I made a u turn went back to the couple started talking to the soldier he said his story with me then I let him read my story about my drug addiction I over come we sat there talking both of us in tears I thanked him for his services for me and my country told him he was a hero he ask me for my phone number so I have it to the soldier he called me back a few mind ago crying telling me that Im the hero and said to me that God meant for us to meet today he wanted the web sight where my article was hes been telling everyone about how I over come such a powerful drug as cocaine his friends and family wants to meet me he said I inspired him today not to ever give up that will heart and will power anything can be overcome I cant put in words how great that made feel for just taking a few mins to care about someone in need he saw my sit ask if my job was hiring I told the man id do whatever it took that I could say or do to try to help him get hired this man was in his early to mid 20s I saw how sincere and passionate he was trying to take care of his family Im speechless with joy from him calling me of all people and thanking me Im Honored
