Today, Matthew started a hopefully lengthy apprenticeship with a bike repairman and intends to learn how to work on and repair bicycles. Todays job was to replace the frame on his current bicycle with an aluminum one weighing less than 5 pounds. I cant wait to see and hear what happened when he gets home. Oh yeah, today he is riding back from Highland Mall (close to the shop) on a city bus for the first time as well. I rode with him this morning to make sure he knew how to do it, so lets hope everything is fine this afternoon. Although I am ready to ride down to the bus station if he winds up going back to the bus barn. Lol
