Today after thinking on it for a day, I thought I would begin an exposé on an individual I met yesterday, at least met in part. I shall call him, the person of walmart. And I purposefully will not capitalize any part of his name. Granted, many of my friends will be angered that I visited a Walmart. Clearly Zuckerberg doesnt like Walmart as FB indicates it is spelled incorrectly and offers no correct spelling. With my wife battling egregious oral surgery that has mandated multiple follow ups and weeks of antibiotics, I drove to the pharmacy to pick up three new prescriptions. Of course I threw on my leather trench coat and black hat thinking nothing of it. By the time I had headed home I was thinking something of it - and now the beginning of the FB blog on the person of walmart. After picking up the critical surgeon supplied medications, I wasted no time heading to the car. As I crossed the fire lane and into the parking lot, a rather short, unclean human badly in need of soap and water began walking in my same direction following me at a distance of about 15 feet and another 10 feet off to my side paralleling me. He had one of those little mustaches that screams I like big ones right here or I look like a pedophile or something worse. Mind you my sole purpose was to get the medication home to my wife. As I approached the car this cowardly creature began muttering in my direction with derogatory comments about my attire, questioning what I was trying to prove, and generally just being a rotten piece of human garbage. I pushed my cart to a cart pen and turned to walk back by him. I walked within 2 feet of him, looking down into his unclean face and peering into his eyes. He said nothing and looked at his feet. He continued on to get into his tri-color blue, black and rust miniature pick up that must have a Black Book value of around $85. Since this is the holiday season and I had to care for my spouse I left it at that and went home. However, having thought about it, I now am certain that to allow someone to judge, chastise and intimidate me because I was clean, smelled good, wore clothing he could not afford, whatever...to allow him to continue this behavior means that he will also torment someone else and I have had enough of people judging people. (I tried not to judge him but it is a fact that he needs soap and water and clearly had no business speaking at, near or to me). So, I will keep the image of this bastard in my mind. If I see his jalopy I will capture a picture of it. If I get a clean shot of him I will capture a picture of that too. I want this series detailing how hurting or threatening or intimidating people is wrong to use his own tactics (at a higher technological level) to publicly shame him for being an asshole and a coward. I close the first chapter by offering this to the small, unclean smart-assed little man - provided he can read since Im posting this one as public. Unkind sir, it has never been, is not now and will never be any of your business what I think. I can promise you that you could not comprehend these thoughts and if you attempted to you would definitely need to seek psychological help. You may need that anyway, but that is not of my concern and of no import to me. Rest assured that the protection and care of my family trumps all, and had you crossed that line of simply running your mouth or attempting to intimidate, I would have spent the night in jail. You, unclean sir would not have been so fortunate. P.S. - I hope soon to add your picture and a picture of your vehicle to this most excellent Holiday Story.
