Today, along with my fellow executives, I had the opportunity to meet with all of our employees from corporate to update them on the current state of affairs at Young Living Essential Oils. I spoke about our phenomenal growth and things we have in the works to rollout in the coming months and year. I also shared the growth graph that I shared on FB a few weeks ago. This wasn’t new to most of them, but I shared it because I wanted to talk about what is going to happen next year. Many people have asked me, “can it continue”? The answer is, “YES”, and I engaged the group in a little experiment to illustrate why I believe this is the case. We provide a certain amount of points that can be redeemed for product to each employee every month. I asked them to raise their hands if they use all of their points every month for product. Every hand in the room went up. I then asked them to raise their hand if they routinely go to our will call and pay, out of their own pocket, for more product. About 90% of the hands went up. I then asked them to raise their hand if they have ever worked for another network marketing company selling health products (about 50% of the group raised their hands). I asked those hands to remain in the air if they ever paid for product in their last company and all of the hands went down except for 1 or 2. This repeated itself in every session I had with our employees (we had to break up this morning’s meetings into three different sessions to get all of our employees in). One would think that it could be risky to engage in that exercise to illustrate a point not knowing ahead of time the result, but I was so confident in the result that I did it anyway. I am that confident because I am one of those employees that goes to our will call and pays for product out of my own pocket every month. That is truly powerful and illustrates one of the many things that sets #YoungLiving apart. Our products and the quality attached to them through our proprietary seed-to-seal process are unmatched.
