Today at 3:44pm we said farewell to our beloved Brutis. We first meet Brutis back in 2008. In 2009, with the help of Humane Agent involvement, this sweet and handsome soul became part of the HSCC family. Brutis was loved by all who met him. He spent a year in the adoption center before being adopted into a loving home. Due to unforeseen circumstances Brutis was returned in Aug 2013. His family loved him very much and did the right thing for him. Since his return Brutis had become a favorite of all the staff and volunteers. He loved car rides and was frequently taken on special trips. Did we mention that some of those trips involved icecream?! While our hearts are beyond saddened, we are grateful to have been apart of his life. Brutis melted the heart of everyone he met. A special Thank You to all of our amazing staff and volunteers who helped make Brutis last day a very happy one. To Dr. Brooks and her staff, Thank You for making this day a little less painful. All the kindness and respect you and your staff shown as Brutis crossed the rainbow bridge was appreciated. Run free now Brutis. May you have all the car rides you could ever want in heaven.
