Today didnt start off quite well. Sharleez misplaced her badge and told me just minutes before we left for school. That was the second time already the same thing happened. So I got pretty agitated and scolded her. The thing about this girl of mine is, no matter how badly I scold her, she will never cry or answer back. She will just keep nodding her head. So I continued with my nagging in the car on the way to school, telling her she has to be responsible for her actions and inform the teacher herself about the lost badge. As we reached the school gate, she turned to me, took my hand, kissed it, and then she kissed my cheek. Bye mummy, she said, in her ever so soft voice. Wah. I felt so bad right after.
