Today in the House Committee on Natural Resources I voted to advance four commonsense pieces of legislation of which I am a co-sponsor to update and improve the Endangered Species Act (ESA). There is a fundamental problem with the ESA listing process that stems from a lack of transparency. These measures would add needed transparency to the process and ensure that ESA listings are based on the best available scientific data. Learn more about these important bills here:
