Today is Thanksgiving. I know a lot of you arent celebrating or arent used to that holiday but I wanted to take a moment to tell you what it is all about. Besides the obvious historical side to the celebration, Thanksgiving is about thanking life for what it has giving you. And I believe it is something that anyone should do no matter where they come from. So today I decided to be grateful for what I have in my life. Im thankful for having the greatest, most insane, yet incredibly loving and lovable family on Earth. Im thankful for being allowed to meet, live and share beautiful memories with each and every one of these incredible individuals. Im thankful for having the most amazing parents any child could wish and hope for. They taught me to be strong, determined, hardworking but also loving and caring. Im thankful for their unconditional love (and I know thats not always easy). Im thankful to them for allowing me to dream and be who I am. But I am also thankful to them for putting a roof over my head and food on the table everyday. Im thankful to them for making me feel safe in a world that seems to go out of control. Everything might not be perfect but I feel lucky. Thanksgiving is all about spreading love. Start loving! Aujourdhui cest Thanksgiving. Je sais que beaucoup dentre vous ne participent pas à cette célébration ni nen connaissent le principe, mais je voulais prendre un petit moment pour vous en parler. En plus du côté historique, Thanksgiving est un jour où lon doit remercier la vie pour ce quelle nous apporte. Et je crois que chacun dentre nous peut le faire, quelque soit ses origines. Cest pour cela quaujourdhui jai décidé dêtre reconnaissante pour tout ce que jai. Je suis reconnaissante davoir la famille la plus géniale, la plus délirante, la plus aimante de la planète. Je suis reconnaissante davoir pu rencontrer, vivre et partager des moments magiques avec chacun de ces individus géniaux. Je suis reconnaissante davoir les meilleurs parents dont un enfant peut rêver. Ils mont appris a être forte, déterminée, travailleuse mais aussi à aimer et à être lécoute. Je suis reconnaissante de leur amour inconditionnel (même si ce nest pas facile tous les jours). Je les remercie de me permettre dêtre qui je suis et de mautoriser a croire et rêver. Je les remercie de mettre un toit au dessus de ma tête et de la nourriture sur la table tous les jours. Je les remercie de mapporter un sentiment de sécurité dans ce monde qui semble dérailler. Tout nest peut-être pas parfait mais je me sens chanceuse. A Thanksgiving il faut partager et donner de lamour aux autres. A votre tour!
