Today is my daughters 15th Birthday. We are not able to spend the day today together. :-( Birthdays were always a special day for us in our house, we got up at the crack of dawn to wrap presents, prepare breakfast in bed, blow up helium balloons to tie the bed and sing happy birthday in our crokey morning voices, then there was the traditional English party games like musical bumps and parse the parcel at the mandatory party along with English party food, I miss those times so much.... but then they evolve into other ways to celebrate as all things do.... I was asked to post 3 things everyday that I am grateful for a week. Kelly Jo Ann Kyzar is who I am grateful for every day of my life but especially today so I am just going to be grateful 3 times. If you know Kelly, you know how awesome she is, please take a moment to tell her today :-) We have been so blessed to have been in such supportive communities where she knew she was loved by so many people, and that she was free to be who she was. I am so proud of the compassionate, loving, intelligent and artistic being you have become Kelly, and am looking forward to seeing the great things you will do in this world. I miss you I love you Mum
