Today is the day I lost my 18 year son Ryan Keith Uphold. It is hard to believe its been 8 years now. There is not a day that goes by that mom does not think about you. I miss your smile, your hugs, your presence at the dinner table, and you and your buddies hanging out in the game room playing pool. I really miss you my son. I am looking forward to the day when we will all be together again. You were my first and only baby boy, who grew up to be a handsome young man. I do not understand how such terrible accidents happen to the ones we love.The man up stairs are god in heaven nor your dad or mom could not be there to protect you. You were brought up with a good foundation, strong values and beliefs. You knew what was right and what was wrong. I want you to know Ryan, I will always love you, no matter what happened. I love you my son. You will always be in my heart forever and ever.
