Today is the day the WORLD CELEBRATES DOWN SYNDROME DAY !! It is such a privilege to celebrate personally my son Michael. I was 17 when I gave birth to him and I Praise God for him. I dont know of anyone else who has impacted lives like my son Michael. He is closer to God than anyone I know. He is a warrior for serving God and serving His people. I was told he wouldnt do much when he was born but just to love him. I was told he wouldnt live long maybe a couple of years. Michael turns 41 on April 13th. If I could describe Michael in one word, it would be an Encourager, He encourages others all the time. He is my greatest encouragement in life. Right now we are both on a weight loss journey, I chose this journey because of Michael. He deserves the best health on earth and thyroid issues along with my thinking food at least made him happy could have been the death of him in the end, at least an early death and because of Michael we are encouraging other families with and without down syndrome to live healthier lives. When you think these kids cant do something, you have missed the mark..... these kids Can and Will and Michael is so proud to be who HE IS !! Lets Celebrate today and everyone Dance with Mike !!
