Today makes 10 days since Bradys phenobarb (seizure medication) dose was lowered to begin weening him from it to Clonazepam. Since he was put on phenobarb at 3 months old he hasnt had any head control whatsoever. It took my fighting tooth and nail and changing neurologists to get someone to agree to try a different medication because I felt like he was missing his opportunity to improve being on a medication that kept him in a constant daze. Here we are just 10 days after lowering the dose! It may not look like much for an 8 month old but I promise you this is a big step in the right direction for us! #hie #hypoxicischemicencephalopathy #phenobarb #seizures #miraclebaby
