Today marks 18 years of practicing yoga. I never could have imagined what that first surya A would bring forth. The practice has simultaneously chewed me up and spit me out, as well as always been completely neutral and open to receive me no matter what state I was in when I stepped onto my mat. I am relieved It never took anything I projected onto it personally! Every practice I am reminded of just how miraculous the practice is and how fortunate I am to have the opportunity to benefit from its infinite gifts.
