Today marks my 27th year of having this beautiful life. I’ve never in all my years been this content in life & I am truly happy to say that I am at my prime of loving everything about who I am and with those who are still in my life. I’ve met so many positive and negative people along my journey, who has taught me the good & the bad things that have made me the person I am today. Today, as I look back to how far I have come; there is nothing that I would change about all the baby steps that lead me up to this phase of life. My husband, the one man to turn my life right side up, it took me decades to finally see what real love is & I couldn’t have known from anyone else but you, my one true love. You have given me the joy and laughter that I waited years for; my life is so much more completed. Thank you for standing strong with me when the ground shook, thank you for reminding me that life takes one day at a time- to enjoy, bathe, and breathe in today’s happiness. My family; the people who knew the worst of me yet loved me through my flaws. Never once did you guys leave my side & even through the troubling years you guys fought with me to the end. I am much stronger & wiser because of the unconditional love you sheltered me with. Though we fight every minute, we love through every second. I love you guys- the dysfunctional, outrageously, weird family of mine!
