Today on Love at 11: I’m not a rich man, but I was raised in a rich family. I went to the best schools; I’ve always had more than enough from gadgets to luxuries that an ordinary man may not be able to afford. Three years ago, I walked away from my family to make it on my own so I don’t have to live off my family’s fortune. I struggled for a long time but because I had enough startup capital for my business I did okay compared to most guys. My girlfriend at the time, Rebecca thought leaving my parents money was a big mistake and we didn’t last very long. She broke up with me saying that she was also struggling to build her career and she needed someone that could give her the security she needed. Rebecca was raised from a good family, she is kind and fun and made me really happy; I didn’t even spend that much money on her. She never used to ask me for money but she never said no when I offered to take care of her. I always paid the bills but once in a while she would treat me, there were no signs of her being a gold digger but when she broke up with me I thought she might be one. It was very confusing for me. Now my business is making profits and I have a girl I’ve been dating for two months. Rebecca has been calling me and telling me she made a mistake and she wants me back. I am still disappointed that she run when the road got rough but we had a great relationship and I don’t think the girl I’m seeing now can give me that kind of relationship I had with Rebecca. Should I forgive her or is she only after my money? Leslie
