Today our "little" John has taken his next step into the journey of life. He hugged and kissed his girlfriend and mother goodbye and he left for Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Parris Island. Upon successful completion of basic training he will attend the school of infantry in North Carolina. If everything works out, he will be home in January in time for the second semester at Worcester State where he will be a criminal justice major. He will be assigned to a Marine Corps Reserve infantry unit in Plainville Ct. Very proud of John and the other sixteen seniors from Woodstock Academy who have chosen to serve our country in either the active duty, reserves or national guard
