Today was Day 2 of Insanity Max 30!! I LOVED it!! Much more my style than yesterday ;-) Yesterday was the cardio challenge to have as your baseline fitness level but Im not much of a cardio girl so today was right up my alley! It was Tabata style workouts, 20 seconds pushing to your max then a 10 second rest! Watch my video to see my review!! AND I did the high jumps with NO KNEE PAIN!! This is AMAZING for me because about a year ago I hurt my left knee doing squats with heavy weights and wasnt able to workout for about 4 months. In that time I lost a lot of strength and endurance and was so upset because every lower body workout I tried to do caused tons of sharp knee pain...Until I found my awesome coach and mentor Michelle Myers and the PiYo program which was low impact and amazing for my knee! It really helped me get the strength in my legs that I needed to keep my knee in good health and I am able to say now that a year ago I couldnt even do 5 jumping jacks without my knee having shooting pain and now I am doing high jumps with Shaun T!!
