Today was a struggle and I can only imagine what tomorrow will bring. I am usually as excited as the kids this time of year but this year is different. You see as we go to sleep tonight I have a little girl in junior high...tomorrow she will be a freshman in high school. I remember the day I walked into the best elementary school Eastridge...keep in mind this is my story so I can state my opinions as I see it...lol... to the most wonderful kindergarten class and left her with the most wonderful kindergarten teacher Ms. Powers. I love her. Eastridge was and still is a wonderful memory for me. The teachers that loved my daughter and me made her first 4 years the best. Ms Pitts thank you for seeing something in Hailee that no one else has..I will always hold you in my heart. Intermediate was a whole new ballgame. Mr. Day you were then and still are today my hero. Junior High whew have we struggled... teenage years are rough. Mrs. Connors as she is known as now made Hailee read again.. I belive it was The Hunger Games. "Uncle Drew" as we pegged him.. thank you for checking skyward more than me and keeping Hailee walking a straight line. OHM thank you for showing her how to enjoy science. Mrs. Torres thank you for all the math help. Mrs. Cadenhead for showing her the love of music. Who knew you would teach her to read music and she would teach herself how to play this piano sitting in my livingroom. To all of her 8TH grade teachers... I cannot express all the love I have for all of the above and beyond you have gone the last 185 days. They say it takes a village to raise a child. We are truly blessed to have such a wonderful village as ROISD. To all of my kids...some of you I have been with since daycare I LOVE YOU with all of my heart. Enjoy your summer I will be thinking of you. When you walk into ROHS ib 81 days show all of them what wonderful young ladies and young men you are. I will miss all of you terribly. You all have a special place in my heart. I will be excited for the first home football game where I will be able to see and hug you again. May you all keep your feet firmly on the ground but never stop reaching for the stars. Tigger remember to be a pooh somedays. I love you all...momma
