Today we celebrated My Dads life! It was a really wonderful service with lots of good memories shared. I managed to get thru all I wanted to say without a total breakdown of tears. Dads oldest & dearest friend, Ray Haddock, shared stories of meeting Dad & joining the boy scouts. He attributes his leadership qualities that took him into the military where he retired as a Major General to my Dad & what he learned from him in the scouts. My Uncle Buff, Dads older brother & the Moore brothers did a musical tribute which was absolutely beautiful. And one of Dads Honorary grandsons, Josh Bush also did a wonderful performance on the cello. Then the full military honor guard at the gravesite with taps played & the presentation of the flag to my brother. I feel very blessed to have had such a wonderful father, who was & always will be My Hero!
