Today we picked up bags of assorted clothes donated for the affected people in the Purari Community. Many thanks to Peter Ila, Felicity Kari, Belinda Hapea, Dunstan Akuire with wife Juanitta and children and Niccah & her sister Edna Kautia. Unfortunately we didnt pick up the donations from Eugene Karubonez Eka. And thank you to those who have made pledges to donate and we look forward to collecting them this coming week. There is still space available in the container, so kindly donate to put a smile to the face of the kids, mums, bubus, dads, sons and daughters of the affected Purari communities. We are not collecting Cash, as we do not have the authority to accept cash and are only asking for clothes, utensils, mosquitoe nets, canned food, mosquitoe coils, soap, detergents, household things that a family needs, this can be extended, if god willing our people come forward to make up a committee, on voluntary basis, for the committee can than take charge to appeal, be accountable and co-ordinate the appeal process, for logistics. We have this in place, and are doing this voluntarily for the affected people to receive warm clothing and some basic home items. We pray for many good samaritans to come forward for us to set up a committee. Cheers and God bless. Mai-June Lari Oro Raka & Maso Oro Oakiva Raka and Family.
