Todays society sickens me. Im on my way to football practice and im goin down the 17th street hill and theres is an elderly lady with a handicapped sticker parked on the inside lane with her little hand stuck out the window. So I pulled off and waited for traffic to clear. And it was ALOT of traffic. Just merging and passing without a care in the world. I whipped my car around and pulled up behind her. She said she had been stuck their for the last 25 minutes and nobody bothered to stop and help. Her car had died going up the hill and she couldnt figure out how to get started again. I realized it wasnt in park so I put it in park for her and it started right up and she reached up with a twenty dollar bill in her hand and I told her not to bother and to get home safe. With tears in her eyes and said thank you so much young man, you remind me of my husband. The world needs men like you in it. And pulled me in for a hug. Generosity people. Sometimes I just cant believe how much people put themselves before others.
