Update on Janice Wilden (via her aunt)~ I spoke with my sister last night because Jan had an appointment with the neurologist. They will be looking at replacing her skull cap in July because they dont want any chance of infection. The doctor also said that there may not be any further developments in Jans recovery process...that what we have maybe what we get. As hard as this is to hear, weve heard worse and with Gods healing hand upon her Jan always proves them wrong. I know we must accept Gods will in our lives and I like to think Im pretty sensitive to Gods direction...even though I dont always listen. Since Jans accident, Ive never felt like this was it...that Gods plan for her is to be in that hospital for the rest of her life. Nothing inside me feels that way. I fear my biggest problem is wanting the healing to be on my time, today...I dont want to wait for Gods perfect timing but I know its not going to happen any faster than He and only He wants it to. Therefore, I again refuse to listen to the doctors and Im waiting on God. Today, I pray in Jesus name that Im forgiven for trying to rush a miracle. I also pray in Jesus name that Jans brain and body become stronger and healthier and that each day we can see little progresses until God feels its time for more. Lastly, I pray in Jesus name that Jan feels loved by her family, friends, and God and that this love will strengthen her motivation to recover.
