Tom Likambale, Timothy Nundwe, this experiences brings another dimension to the elections which we should be throwing to the so called International Observers who quickly gave an A pass to the elections and MEC now says election has irregularities that forces them to undertake a recount. Were they really observing or the cheap Carlsberg Green made them relaxed? Do they really try to keep up to date as to what goes wrong in such elections? Did they ask questions and that were they satisfied with answers as to how MEC would deal (transportation, safety, storage) with ballot boxes after the election? Did they review the logistics to be implemented by MEC and were they satisfied? Their books will show that their Govts/institutions have given aid to Malawi. They should therefore give account on the efficiency and effectiveness or lack of it of the aid and why? I would have thought observers are there to more than just watch whether the voting line is orderly. In this case it seems that was the case. Let them speak out!
